I am a PhD student at Liverpool Hope University at Andrew Walls Center. Before that, I have served in Tanzania for 6 years working as a missionary in a literature project - Soma Biblia (Read the Bible). My educational background is a Cand. Theol. from the University of Copenhagen and I hold a Master of African Studies from the University of Copenhagen as well.
My research concentrates on the relationship between the East African Revival and Charismatic Christianity in Tanzania. In my research, I will primarily focus on the development of the East African Revival within the limits of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania. At this point, I will research how the process of charismaticization has taken place along the lines of an explicit Lutheran and revival identity
