Racheal Adebayo

Racheal Adebayo is a recent Ph.D. graduate from the University of Warwick, UK. Her recent project explores the influence of church attendance on black churchgoing teenagers in the UK. The study is carried out as a qualitative study of 27 teenagers, ages between 13 and 15 years old. Critical analysis of the influence of church attendance among the interview participants falls into the categories of moral and social life, personal and spiritual growth, networking, and communal participation. The findings of this study were then discussed in comparison to previous existing scholarly studies on religion and spirituality.
