I am currently a PhD candidite in USJ.

I am now working on my thesis with the title: THE RECEPTION OF THE CHARISMATIC MOVEMENT WITHIN EVANGELICAL CHURCHES IN MACAU: A HISTORICAL INVESTIGATION.

This research is designed to survey and describe the phenomenon of the Charismatic Movement within Evangelical Churches in Macau. Although the Charismatic Movement is a global phenomenon in the context of Evangelical Church history and extensive theological analysis has been done for other regions, countries, and even for Macau’s sister city Hong Kong, Macau is still in need of an academic examination regarding this movement in order to fill the current gap of knowledge. Through this academic research project, I intend to reconstruct and to synthesize the Charismatic Movement within Macau Evangelical Churches with the tools of historical research with interviews and theological analyses.
